Community Services Programme (CSP) is a national level multi-disciplinary, non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization established in 2008 and formally registered in January 2009 under registration & control act 1982.
It aims at alleviating the sufferings of affected populations by delivering rapid, flexible, effective and timely humanitarian emergency response and building resilient communities under triple-nexus programming underpinned by gender, disability and protection mainstreaming, transparency and accountability. The CSP works with disadvantaged segments of society by collaborating with national, provincial and local authorities, UN agencies, other in-country humanitarian & development actors, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Youth & Women Groups. It enjoys a unique advantage of having a rich pool of female & male youth volunteers who actively participate in all phases of project management and play their pivotal role in community engagement and accountability (CEA). CSP partnered with many international/ national organizations and grassroots community institutions (COs, VOs, CBOs, LSOs) to deliver sustainable, innovative, cost-effective and impactful quality interventions in the sectors of disaster community organization/mobilization, preparedness, emergency response, mother & child healthcare (MCH), education and child welfare, water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH), climate change adaptation, food security & livelihoods, women & youth empowerment, advocacy & campaigning. It uses community institutionalization, environmental protection, CEA, gender, disability & protection as crosscutting themes delivering all kind of interventions.
The salient feature of CSP’s programming approach;
During all programming and interventions, CSP will ensure to empower and uplift the women and children especially girls. Gender and Anti-Harassment Policies are in place, and followed strictly. We will ensure the gender equality inside CSP and outside in community (during programming).
CSP will ensure at all stages are kept prior to the local culture, religion, traditions or any other relevant factor. No such activity will planned or carried out which directly or indirectly affect the local culture, norms and values. If any of the proposed activities found in conflict with do no harm, program team will immediately inform management / stakeholders and propose alternative. CSP will ensure protection and safeguarding of the project beneficiaries and project participants including staff and stakeholders. Through effective complaint response mechanism, the beneficiaries and stakeholders can raise their voice and addressed at all level.
Environment protection is very important as without taking proper measures; the constructions programs may lead to environmental disaster. CSP will ensure to check the environmental feasibility of all the projects; so before any projects our field team will submit the Initial environmental examination Form to management.
CSP has a strong accountability & good governance system. Policies & procedures are developed for all the sections including organizational management. The organizational management is effective due to strict following the organizational SOPs / policies. All the members are encouraged to ask and participate in overall matters / affairs of the organization and the different programs. The progress review and planning events are organized frequently, in which the Board members are invited for the contribution in planning and taking important decisions.
The finance record is maintained accordingly the CSP Financial SOPs. So by following all the policies and procedures the accountability and transparency in each step is ensured. CSP ensures that project funds are recorded and maintained in accordance with accounting practices. CSP has strong internal controls system sufficient to ensure the accuracy, transparency and reliability of financial information. The project’s financial transactions / records are audited annually by independent firm of Auditors.

Community Services Programme (CSP) has formally registered in January 2009 under registration & control act 1982. CSP also registered with Economic Affairs Division of Pakistan (EAD).
